Knowsley Domestic Violence Support Services

Domestic Abuse is the misuse of power and control of one person over another and includes physical, emotional and mental abuse.
It is not only carried out by men against women it also occurs in same sex relationships and by women against men.

Knowsley Domestic Violence Services provides the Teen Talk Project which is a service for males and females aged between 13-18 years who have been affected by domestic abuse. Eight group sessions, lasting 2.5 hours each and delivered at venues across Knowsley. Issues discussed will include: drugs and alcohol, sexual health, relationships, media, relaxation, peer pressure, body image, stereotypes, self esteem, contraception and domestic abuse.
