Wheelchair Service

This service is based at the Independent Living Centre. The service can be accessed via referral from a General Practitioner, Consultant or Health Care Professional. On referral, the client will be assessed, and according to their needs, be provided with a wheelchair on a short or long-term basis. The service provides manual wheelchairs, a small variety of powered wheelchairs, participates in the Voucher Scheme and also supplies specialist seating systems and cushions.
